Before submitting your idea, we will sign and send you the non-disclosure agreement found in
Legal Issues.  A non-disclosure agreement is a formal contract that guarantees confidentiality between you and Ghostscribes. After you return the signed agreement with your idea in the provided space, we are ready to begin our story conference. At this point you are protected.

Sharing a story idea is an easy thing to do. It's much simpler than you may imagine.  We are good listeners.

The following is an example of a story told to a Ghostscribes writer:

"A friend of mine went to his grandfather's funeral.  His grandfather, who was a 'made man', was his protection. And my friend needed protection, having hijacked drugs from the wrong guys. He was positive that he would be dead in a matter of weeks, and sure enough he was found shot dead the following Thursday."

This true story is all we had to go on.  It is now a screenplay that has been optioned and is slated for production in about a year.  (We have been given permission to use this story as an illustration.)

We are now prepared to set up a story conference. We will ask you to call us at our 800 number so we can discuss your story concept in detail. In some instances clients have requested face to face meetings subsequent to our initial story conference. We are amenable to traveling anywhere in the world.

Our fees are competitive and will be forwarded to you after our consultation.

After one or more exploratory conversations, when you and our Ghostscribes consultant have agreed to the story, we will sign a contract agreeing to terms under which Ghostscribes will begin to develop your screenplay.
